EEAW is committed to protecting the privacy of our members.
The information we collect on this web site is designed to provide you with appropriate information related to the environmental education work in Washington State and to process your memberships, donations, and event registrations.
When you join EEAW, you are added to EEAW’s database, signed up for EEAW’s newsletter The Networker as well as EEAW and E3 Washington bulletins and alerts. If you do not wish to receive one or more of these communications, you may opt out upon receiving the first issue of each. We will not subscribe you to lists without your permission. Joining EEAW does not automatically put you on the EEAW list serve—you must ask to be placed on the list. EEAW will not release your personal data to anyone else without your consent.
Information You Give Us
In order to process memberships and event registrations, we must ask you to provide some information. We do not disclose, sell, trade, or rent your personal information to outside parties. We use this information solely to process your online transactions, and, when necessary, to contact you radation suit your transactions. We share this information, and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing of your transactions—for example, financial institutions—our bank and yours. Information that is collected is used to check the users' qualifications for registration and to process membership transactions.
EEAW understands the concerns that our members may have in providing personal information online. You have our assurance that we will take whatever measures necessary to protect that information. Credit Card Numbers
EEAW uses GiftTool-enabled services to process online financial transactions. Your credit card information, including the name on the credit card, billing address, and expiration date, are used only to process the transaction. All of this information is encrypted using 128-bit SSL encryption, industry standard secure technology. This encryption is designed to prevent theft or interception of the information.
Complete credit card numbers are NOT stored by EEAW or GiftTool. Only the financial institutions involved in a transaction retain that information.
Tracking Data on How You Use Our Site
Like many companies using the Internet, we do use tracking software to generate reports on how people are using our site. This information is used to continuously improve the content, performance, and ease-of-use of our site. We do not disclose, sell, trade, or rent any personally identifying information obtained in this way to outside parties.
